Items by Mail & Curbside Pickup

Request books and DVDs by mail or for curbside pickup.

Patrons are able to request up to 3 books and 3 DVDs for mail delivery or for curbside pickup.  Requests can be made by using the online form or by phoning 519-245-8237 and leaving a message with your contact information.

You will be contacted by staff when requested items are ready for pickup; additional instructions for pick up will be provided at that time.  You can then visit you selected branch during their designated curbside pickup hours. Please review our guide to curbside pickup procedures and be sure to follow any signage and directions posted at the branch.

For patrons outside of communities with curbside pickup, and for those who do not wish to visit the library, delivery of items by mail will still be available. Items by mail can be requested in the same two ways: using the online form or by calling 519-245-8237.

There is a limit of one request per card every two weeks, and a limit of 3 books and 3 DVDs per request.

All items mailed to you or picked up curbside will have an August 2 due date.  If you wish to return items earlier you may do so by placing them in the drop box at your local branch.  We ask that you consider returning them early to so others might enjoy them too.  Library materials loaned from before the closure may also be returned to your local branch at this time.  For the safety of our staff and patrons please wait to return items if you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or are currently exhibiting symptoms.

If you have questions, please email us at librarian@middlesex.ca or call 519-245-8237 and leave a message. You can also chat live with library staff 7 days a week, during most business hours.
