Middlesex County Library is excited to offer Ontario Parks Day-Use Vehicles passes for loan in 2021!  Place a pass on hold using our online catalogue, or call 519-245-8237 for assistance.

Passes must be picked up at the owning library (look for your desired pickup location when placing the hold). There are passes available at all ten of our curbside pickup locations.

Passes are available to be borrowed for seven days.  Each valid Middlesex County Library card holder can borrow one pass per year.

Ontario Parks will be offering free weekday day use visits Monday to Thursday from May 1 to September 2, 2021. Note that you will still require a permit to visit parks on Fridays and on weekends. Visit the Ontario Parks website to learn more.

Beginning June 7 Ontario Parks is piloting advance registration for Day Use Vehicle passes at 17 parks, including Pinery, Long Point, and Algonquin. Daily vehicle permits will continue to be free Monday-Thursday until September 2, but Ontario Parks still recommends advance reservations for these 17 locations. If you are planning to visit one of these 17 parks on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday you are still able to use one of the Day-Use passes available from Middlesex County Library. When completing your reservation enter the serial number from the pass when prompted to do so.

Please note that Middlesex County Library is unable to guarantee availability for specific dates or events, and that serial numbers will not be provided in advance of check-out. The physical pass must be displayed in your vehicle while at the park.
